We are back in Switzerland, in Verbier / Le Chable, for our very first heliski session! Down at the heliport, we couldn't see much, a nice sea of clouds overcasted the whole valley. Quite disappointing. But after a few minutes, the sun came through, and it was ON. 2 runs on the menu: - first one on the Glacier du Trient, over the clouds it was amazing, "Welcome to Paradise" - for the second we were supposed to go to the Petit Combin, but the chopper was short on gas so we went back to Trient. Since the beginning of the season, we were green with envy watching all the pictures and videos from Japan, where snow conditions looked amazing. New snowfall means new episode for Ubac Images! For this 3rd episode, we travelled to Austria, more precisely the resort of Sankt Anton am Arlberg. This place is well-known for freeriding, and we were eager to verify it by ourselves. Today is a great day of winter 2015!!! Not only it is dumping, but above all it is the release of the second episode of Ubac Images! Initially, the idea was for Pierre and Julien to climb the Roc d'Enfer and to ride down a nice couloir. First episode of Ubac Images for the winter 2013-2014. There was so little snow in Haute-Savoie in December 2013, that we decided to hit the road and search for it.
