Here are the Highlights from the ½ Mile Jibline at the 32th Kaunertal Opening 2017.

Day two of the Opening was formed by the athletic highlight of the weekend. 6000,- Euro overall prize money where put out there to be won at KTO Pro Contest. It has been an incredible performance by all riders. Fife time in a row snowboard Pro Contest winner Eric Beauchemin put his name out there again and showed everyone that he deserves to be all the way up on the podium. The 32. Kaunertal Opening 2017 went down last weekend. Three days full with snow, parties and good vibes. Here is the official Recap from the whole weekend.

Friday started in a smooth and chilled way with lots of happy faces. A fun mix of Sessions and Side Events, like the Splitboard Workshop, the avalanche transceiver training field, DJ sound at the Red Bull Volvo and a spontaneous stand up concert at the Testival area were fantastic editions to the program. The SWATCH FREERIDE WORLD TOUR BY THE NORTH FACE is back in 2013. Merging with the Freesking World Tour and The North Face Masters of Snowboarding, the new tour will see the world's top riders competing on world-class venue. Confirmed locations include Revelstoke, Canada, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France, Kirkwood, USA, Fieberbrunn PillerseeTal, Austria, and one more stop still to be confirmed, before the World Tour finals in Verbier, Switzerland.
