The Swatch Girls Pro France - edition 2012 has kicked off! Stay tuned for highlight action droping in the next days from the beautiful coasts of Seignosse, Hossegor!

That was Day 1 of the Swatch Girls Pro France 2012.

What an epic event it was with the glorious victory of US surfer Courtney Conlogue off the coast of Seignosse/Hossegor.

Swatch Proteam athletes Kassia Meador and Darci Liu alongside current ASP Women's Longboard World Champion Kelia Moniz and Reunion Island surfer Victoria Vergara visit a local school in Wanning, China and hand out gifts to the local kids in anticipation of the SWATCH GIRLS PRO CHINA 2013.

Reigning event and ASP Women's World Longboard Champion Kelia Moniz got her title defense off to a good start to advance automatically to Round 3 on the opening day. Chelsea Williams, who finished 1st and 2nd in the previous two events also picked up where she'd left off, showing mastery of the conditions early on in the morning to set the performance marker for the day. Another fascinating day full of longboard surfing went down at Riyue Bay today as a strong swell continued to bless the contest on Day 2. Chelsea Williams was the stand-out performer, despite admitting feeling she had more left in the tank. Kelia Moniz, Karina Rozunko, Summer Romero, Miku Uemura, Jennifer Smith, Chloe Calmon and Justine Dupont also made into the Quarters.
