LAAX OPEN has been safely launched in tracks! The world 's best snowboarders have already completed their qualification runs. Scotty James (AUS) took first place in the men's halfpipe qualification, as well as American Chloe Kim in the women’s competition! In the slopestyle contest Sven Thorgren (SWE) was able to secure the top position to qualify for the semi-finals coming up next. The finals on Friday (Slopestyle) and on Saturday (Halfpipe) are getting closer!

Silje Norendal (NOR) and Chris Corning (USA) took home the LAAX OPEN Slopestyle titles today here at the LAAX OPEN 2019 Snowboard World Cup. A day to remember also for the Swiss riders at their home event with three podium spots in total. The LAAX OPEN 2019 culminated today with the long-awaited highlight, the first ever Superpipe Night Finals up on Crap Sogn Gion. Olympic Gold medalist and top favorite Chloe Kim fulfilled all expectations after winning this morning’s semi-finals and also dominating tonight’s finals.
