Fortunately for Ian McIntosh, Canada's health insurance system still insures for folks with pre-existing conditions, like having a few screws loose upstairs. You're not supposed to be able to ski La Grave—a place infamous for pants-shitting steeps and deadly exposure—at the speeds Mac and Johnny Collinson do in this episode of Sony Mind's Eye, so maybe socialized medicine is playing a part in the ability of guys like Ian to blaze new trails in the speed category (we're joking).

Haines, AK received 8ft of powder in a 14 day period and the TGR crew were blessed with stable snow conditions. Classic McIntosh, he picked a line with a large drop coming out of it, full of critical turns, and had to beat his sluff out. With first descents being the norm, Ian McIntosh drops in on a virgin line with his Ripxx and records his G's and top speed, charging!
