Clemens Millauer and Viktor Szigeti came a long way from austria to check out the Snowpark Lenzerheide. The start of the day was kind of cloudy, and when it finally opened up the boys lost no time and went straight to work. The first of march was a perfect park day. Warm enough to ride with the hoodie but still cold enough to get enough speed for the jumps. Blue Tomato did send their teamriders Severin Noiges and Alexander Reiter, who were joined by locals like Moritz Schwarz. They bearded the weather and showed the judges and spectators some fine freestyle action in the Superpark Planai and therefore were rewarded with sunbeams at the finals! . One day after the supposed Armageddon, the same atmosphere dominated the morning of the QParks Tour stop Blue Tomato Plan P at the Superpark Planai. Fog and strong snowfalls reduced visibility, difficult conditions during the qualifications. The contest setup, consisting of 4 different jib and kicker obstacles in a row, was hardly to see and riders could no better than guess the outlines of the obstacles. Last Friday numerous snowboarders met in the Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkönig for a photo and film shooting. At spring-like temperatures above all the ladies flourished and showed their best tricks. The young up and comer Jakob Kratzer just became 1st in the rookie comp at the Mayrhofen Freeski Open. Maybe it helped that he was in Muehlbach the days before to train some endless lines. The Blue Tomato Kids Freeski Day happened on the 7th of january 2012 on the Planai. The weather was a bit mixed but nevertheless all motivated freeski kids had a hell of a day. The day started with some warm up park laps, continued in waist high powder and ended in the Blue Tomato Shop in Schladming with some nice goodie bags!
