The Nanuq is 131 mm wide at the shovel, making it one of the wider touring skis in the program. Even so, it only tips the scales at 1,650 g thanks to its extra light multilayer woodcore, meaning it is still a joy on the climb.
The biggest reward for climbing those extra meters comes on the descent, though, where the Nanuq's tip rocker lets it glide effortlessly through absolutely any type of snow and keeps the turns easy to control.
The Nunataq is new in the program, and fulfilling the dream of all backcountry touring skiers. Manufactured with an extra-light multilayer woodcore and outfitted with a moderate full rocker shape, the Nunataq is designed for a comfortable ascent and unlimited fun on the descent, no matter what the snow conditions.
At 139 mm width at the shovel and lengths of up to 186 cm, the Nunataq is certainly not intended for those who need to mind every gram on the ascent, but still one of the lightest skis at this width. And on the downhill, though, it stands second to none.
