Hot Hot Hot! Not just the temperature in Whistler which was topping the usually Whistler highs, but the scene up at Camp of Champions with the PWDR ROOM girls reach new heights. Mercedes Nicoll, Gillian Andrewshenko, Claudia Avon, and Dom Vallee took over week C and made it the week of the summer.

For the 8th time in a row Norway presented the best team at the Protest World Rookie Fest in Livigno, standing out as the most influent nation in youth competitive snowboard programs. On the podium we also greeted riders from Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Belgium and Poland. The 4Star TTR Poney Session celebrated it’s 10th year anniversary with the seasonal theme being, hunting and fishing. Amazing level of riding was shown by all, with riders coming from all across Europe. But it was Jonas Steen from Norway who took the victory with an incredible run of a Double Cork 12 and Cab 10. The LADIES FIRST CHALLENGE is the first freestyle tour only for girls in Switzerland and is a 3Star TTR event. This winter, The Ladies Fist Challenge has three slopestyles: two qualifiers contests, one being Thyon then the next stop is Wildhaus (18.02.2012) and then the Final in Leysin (23-24.03.2012). In his third appearance at the event, Finnish rider Juuso Laivisto claimed his second first-place finish at China’s 5Star TTR Red Bull Nanshan Open. “It’s been awesome to see how the event has grown the last years, since I won it the first time, when it was still a 4Star. I was stoked with my win, it was definitely heavy competition today. The others were just a little unfortunate I think.” Juuso said.
