THE NESCAFÉ CHAMPS IS BACK ! For the CHAMPS and those who have followed the event for 19 years, the 2010 winter cant arrive soon enough. The oldest competition in Europe will return to its resort of origin at LEYSIN. That is not the only good news, the long time partner of the CHAMPS will return and re-baptize the event NESCAFÉ CHAMPS.

A big week is in store for the 5Star NESCAFÉ CHAMPS Leysin as the event prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary. This event has brought many young talents into the limelight and continues to do so with its progressive slopestyle course that includes a superpipe into the setup. Top male and female athletes from all over Europe will be heading to Leysin, Switzerland next week from Feburary 5th to 8th 2011, to compete for a share in the $50,000 USD prize purse and a maximum of 850 Swatch TTR...

In his third appearance at the event, Finnish rider Juuso Laivisto claimed his second first-place finish at China’s 5Star TTR Red Bull Nanshan Open. “It’s been awesome to see how the event has grown the last years, since I won it the first time, when it was still a 4Star. I was stoked with my win, it was definitely heavy competition today. The others were just a little unfortunate I think.” Juuso said.
