Celebrating its tenth birthday this year, the legendary Red Bull Nanshan Open becomes a 5Star TTR event in 2012 to become the largest slopestyle event in Asia. News Flash: After a night of action on the big air jump at the 6Star TTR Billabong Air & Style 2009/II in Innsbruck, Austria, Marko Grilc took the top spot on the podium and is now the new leader on Swatch TTR World Tour. Grilc was not on the original invite list, but after two injures during practice for the main event, he was given a spot in the legendary snowboard competition.

In his third appearance at the event, Finnish rider Juuso Laivisto claimed his second first-place finish at China’s 5Star TTR Red Bull Nanshan Open. “It’s been awesome to see how the event has grown the last years, since I won it the first time, when it was still a 4Star. I was stoked with my win, it was definitely heavy competition today. The others were just a little unfortunate I think.” Juuso said.
