For professional athletes and age groupers alike, the biggest goal in IRONMAN is crossing that finish line. Months of hard training and meticulous preparation, and hours of emotional highs and lows during the race, come to its culmination in that magical moment of crossing the finish line.
In our web clip ‘The Finish Line’ we meet Germany’s top female IRONMAN pro and 2015 IRONMAN Wales winner Anja Beranek, 2014 IRONMAN World champion and reigning European champion Sebastian Kienle, and 2-time European IRONMAN Champion and 9-time IRONMAN winner Timo Bracht, as they share their thoughts about the emotional climax to every IRONMAN race that is the finish line.
But we also talk to age groupers moments after successfully completing the IRONMAN European championship in Frankfurt, Germany and show emotional finish line highlights from other European IRONMAN races in Klagenfurt, Austria and Nice, France.
