The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Swatch Girls Pro 6-Star Women's event started today with the girls battling the tough weather conditions that battered the contest site non-stop from first light this morning. Competition ran through two complete rounds until the incoming tide suddenly forced a holt to proceedings early in round 4 of this $US35.000 event. While the event favorite Courtney Conlogue (USA) was in fine form, some big names fell victim to the tough conditions of the Le Penon beach. With local favorite and Swatch Pro Team surfer Pauline Ado (FRA) bowing out, along with Sage Erickson (USA), the event is already bringing surprises. Swatch Pro Team surfer and ASP World No.3 Courtney Conlogue treated the beach crowd to a near-perfect display in her debut heat, scoring a total of 19.05 out of a possible 20, including a perfect 10 for her...

Finally, the SWATCH GIRLS PRO FRANCE 2013 kicked off in beautiful Seignosse Hossegor, France. Blue skies, aquamarine seas and offshore winds welcomed the athletes on day one. With the completion of the Round of 60, there are only 48 surfers left in the draw, with the top seeds – including the Swatch Proteam trio-set to enter the fray next. Top 16 surfer Rebecca Woodsposting made the day's highest wave score of 8.75 in Round 1.

It’s the final of the Swatch Girls Pro 2010 in Hossegor, France.
