SWATCH GIRLS PRO CHINA 2012 – Highlights of Day 2
SWATCH GIRLS PRO CHINA 2012 – Highlights of Day 2
MAJOR UPSETS ON DAY TWO
Day two of the SWATCH GIRLS PRO CHINA 2012 hosted by Wanning saw rounds 2 and 3 completed in marginal 1ft conditions at Riyuewan Bay. Despite the South China Sea monsoon swell being on something of a sabbatical, there was little shortage of deftness of skill and technique from the finest female longboard surfers in the world. Defending event champion Chelsea Williams nailed the highest score of the day for the second day running with a 8.25, giving the modest left hand walls of Riyuewan Bay a display of her fast footwork and tight board skills. With the forecast promising precious little for the coming days, the decision was made by the girls themselves to make the best of what was breaking at the beach today.
