Suzuki Nine Knights MTB Short Film Competition
In addition to its usual photo competition, the 2014 Suzuki Nine Knights MTB also featured a Short Film Competition, where selected film makers came along to create a short clip documenting the action packed week of freeride mountain biking on Mottolino Fun Mountain in Livigno. The mostly national teams had free reign around "Il Castello", as well as, in the amazing Mottolino Bike Park and its backtoutry trails. Judged by their peers at the award night, it was the all-Swede team, lead by filmer Simon Duse, who came out on top as the winner of the team battle taking the coveted "Best Film" title. "I really liked the team format, it made the whole event so personal and created a great atmosphere!", commented the stoked Duse, who won himself a special edition Giant bike.
Bringing creativity to the game, all teams worked tightly together, with Team El Flamingo using fireworks to light up the action on all the obstacles and focusing on getting the maximum out of the course, as well as, on the freeride trails.
The stunning results speak for themselves. Lean back and enjoy the masterpieces!
