Superpark Planai: Ready, Shredy, GO - Freeski Winter 13/14!

Freeski and snowboard girls from all over the globe arrived to the huge snow castle at Mottolino Fun Mountain in Livigno, Italy for the first day of the Suzuki Nine Queens presented by O'Neill 2014. Follow Emma Dahlström (SWE), Keri Herman (USA), Katie Summerhayes (GBR), Rebecca Torr (NZL) and Kjersti Ostgaard-Buaas (NOR) as they check out the course. Contest day on 29th March 2014.

Many riders of the Blue Tomato Snowboard Team, made their way to Superpark Planai to celebrate two days of happy shredding in nice springlike conditions. With early season shred measures in full effect, a small Freeski Crew with Flo Wallner and Stefan Wetzka came to the Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkönig for a first session. With snow being thin on the ground across Europe, the boys were pleasantly surprised to find 22 features ranging from the butteriest of butter boxes to a cannon rail that could send you to the moon stretching along the 1.8km of park. The QParks Freeski Tour returned to Superpark Planai on Saturday the 21st of December for an early Christmas treat for mayn shredders. With the course shaped to near perfection and the sun blaring down on the mountain, it felt more like a spring season shred than a depths of winter contest.
