Far from extreme couloir skiing, the competitive circuit, or crowded lift lines, Yann Gobert, along with friends Pascal Le Bozec Viout and Leonardo, wanted to find an authentic region for a human-powered ski adventure. Their snowy playground: LYNGEN THE ALPS. For 10 days, the three friends lived self-sufficiently, sleeping in huts in the mountains. Throughout the adventure, they each took photos and videos, with the goal to collect three different perspectives of the same journey. This region of Norway, between sea and mountains remains wild and pure. Often referred to as a skier’s paradise, Lyngen weather can also be unpredictable, posing challenges for skiers and their gear.
