One day before new years eve a the Snowpark Schöneben got polished for the first shooting of the season. A bunch of motivated freeskiers found an almost complete set up which got nicely prepared for our crew. Back in April, the Rettenbach glacier in Sölden hosted one of Europe's heaviest big kicker sessions with two of the finest freeski crews in the land. The Freeski Crew and the Headbud crew had 2 days of bluebird sky and shaping perfection to lay down some hammers for their upcoming films. A freeski crew which consisted of Christl Radulowiz, Tim Sanderson and James Philips took the trip from Innsbruck to check out the Snowpark Obergurgl, which is one of the new additions to the QParks family this winter season. The Shape Armada around Andi Röck did their best to stand tall against last weeks „april weather“, which actually lasted all the way through may, with some sunny gaps, in between. The 7th stop of the QParks Freeski Tour went down in typically Swiss fashion. Not a minute late, perfect weather and a backdrop that looked like the Toblerone wrapper. As the end of the season slowly ticking down with the hands of the clock, it was decided that it was time for a spring session on the kickers at the Vans Penken Park Mayrhofen on the 8th of March.
