Gstaad is stoked about the upcoming park season of 2015/16! A brilliant setup and numerous events have already been planned. Part of the QParks Tour series, the Gstaad Mountain Rides Open sweep the park in January, before the Girls Shred Session in February and SnowTunes in March are promising a good start for 2016. Thanks to park designer Franz Lechner, this winter the Snowpark Kitzbühel presents itself in best shape. Besides various features, a massive kicker line awaits snowboarders to take-off for some sick airtime. Florian Scheiblbrandner and Julian Hagen couldn`t resist the park and popped by for an extensive and sunny March session. The 5th edition of the LAAX OPEN will take place from January 13 to 18, 2020. It is the snowboarding event highlight in Europe’s mountains and guarantees snowboarding at its finest. It includes high-quality contests in slopestyle and halfpipe for women and men, sanctioned by FIS and WS, and offers CHF 200,000 in prize money.

On the 21.12.2013, we visited the Snowpark Gastein, to take a closer look behind the scenes of this project. We spend the day with the parkcrew around Parkdesigner Markus, talked to the operative manager of the Gastein Bahnen and witnessed the riders Flo and Ali during the first film/photoshooting of the season.
