Thanks to park designer Franz Lechner, this winter the Snowpark Kitzbühel presents itself in best shape. Besides various features, a massive kicker line awaits snowboarders to take-off for some sick airtime. Florian Scheiblbrandner and Julian Hagen couldn`t resist the park and popped by for an extensive and sunny March session. Last thursday the seasonal film- and photo shooting at the Snowpark Waidring Steinplatte took place. Snowboarders liek Georg Ischepp, Max Kaffl and Daniel Lutz already waited longingly for this date. On the 21.12.2013, we visited the Snowpark Gastein, to take a closer look behind the scenes of this project. We spend the day with the parkcrew around Parkdesigner Markus, talked to the operative manager of the Gastein Bahnen and witnessed the riders Flo and Ali during the first film/photoshooting of the season. Kitzbühel is known worldwide as the mekka of alpine skiing, with the anually held skiing race at the legendary Streif, the lifestyle and the beautiful surroundings which attract tourists from all over the world year after year.
