The polish ski mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel re-wrote history on the K2 (8.611m summit), the infamous Himalayan peak, the world’s second highest mountain. On July 22nd 2018 he summited K2 without oxygen and skied from peak to base without removing his skis – a seemingly impossible challenge which had never been completed before or since. The 60h+ ascent of K2 alone is an extraordinary achievement that pushes even the most experienced and highest skilled mountaineers to their limits.

Dernière sortie de la saison du Club Alpin de Moutiers, on est allé chercher l'aiguille de Péclet par le glacier ouest. Petit bonus : le couloir ouest qui surplombe le glacier (si quelqu'un a le nom...). C'était bien gelé la dedans, pour le reste, gros plaisir avec 15cm de fraiche sur le haut, bonne surprise pour un 24 Mai !

Dépassement non autorisé, éructation et mauvaises langues, le respect est encore décédé le 21 Mai 2020 dans l'aiguille du fruit. Couloir nord si vous cherchez bien.

Départ de notre Dame de la Gorge aux Contamines Montjoie en VTT jusqu'au refuge de la Balme ou les premiers névés du Couloir des Chasseurs apparaissent.
Départ en Split jusqu'au col. Neige de printemps très collante lors de la descente.
Même si l'état de la neige ne permettait pas de faire une bonne descente, celle ci m'a permit de valider le très bon potentiel de ce nouveau Split Aluflex et L'assemblage des fixations Salomon avec une Monolith de 185 en Fiberflex en font un Split Monoski d...
