Russ Henshaw triple cork

Melbourne-based installation artists ENESS bring a new perspective to action sports by fusing interactive art with skiers and snowboarders flying through the air. To achieve this spectacle a 21' inflatable sphere hovered between hits as proprietary software mapped 3D visuals onto the snow and sphere. Riders were tracked via an infrared camera as they flew through the air.

The Jon Olsson Invitational is a big air contest taking place during the JOSS. This year, the norwegian Andreas Hatveit takes the win with a double cork 1000 double mute to double japan. He is followed by Russ Henshaw and Elias Ambuhl.

Snowpark is on point this year and seeing it return to is former glory... I spent a day with a couple of pro skiers from around the world.
