Riding Mexico with Jeff Kendall Weed
As the rain in Jeff’s homestate of Washington began to plummet down, accompanied with quickly dropping temperatures, it was time to head someplace warmer, and more exotic, for a final riding edit in 2017. After a very successful visit to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to present the WTB product line at Kinetic Sport SA de CV in August, Jeff thought it would be great to take up local photographer, pump track builder, and guide Haitman Rivas’ offer of a trip to his hometown, Ixtapan de la Sal. This is located just south of the massive volcano, the Nevado de Toluca, which tops out at an impressive 15,000 feet.
