The best ice cross downhill skaters racing four-at-a-time down the 420-metre-long ice run in Are, Sweden! The result was an action-packed final which saw a surprise winner on Saturday night as many of the favourites crashed out to leave the 2012 World Championship in the balance going into the final race in Quebec City on March 17.

Canadian firefighter Kyle Croxall got his second straight win of the season in the ice cross downhill world championship race in Valkenburg, in the Netherlands, on Saturday. In the Red Bull Crashed Ice final, Croxall defeated Germany’s rising star, Fabian Mels, Finland’s Paavo Klintrup and brother Scott to take a firm grip on the 2012 championship. With two competitions down and two more to go, the next stop is Are, Sweden, in two weeks.

Five members of the Red Bull Air Force made a rare wingsuit flight over the breathtaking New York City skyline. Soaring at speeds up to 120mph, the flyers passed over iconic buildings of the Financial District before landing on a small barge in the middle of the Hudson River!
