Pemberton Backcountry Sledding - One For The Road Almost Live - Episode 7

The TGR production crew recently teamed up with athletes Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Kevin Jones, and Nick Martini to test the 2011 Ford Explorer in Colorado and search out some November powder. The crew uses the Explorer as a “chairlift” to get up and down the mountains and explore some amazing Colorado terrain.

Watch Dash Longe's Powder TV interview as he talks about growing up in Lake Tahoe, filming for the first time with TGR in Salad Days and traveling all over to world for segments in places India, Corsica, Austria, Switzerland and France. As Dash describes, "Once I got on board with TGR it opened up this whole new opportunity of travel...I would probably never get the chance to go to [some of these places] if it wasn't for skiing."

The TGR production crew recently teamed up with athletes Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Kevin Jones and Nick Martini in Colorado to test how well the 2011 Ford Explorer is suited for winter sports. In this episode, the crew uses the Explorer as their "Basecamp" for a night session of urban prowling.

The crew heads to the previously unexplored Petersburg, Alaska. They find the terrain to be big and burly; everyone felt like they were floating in space due to its size. With first descents being the norm, Ian McIntosh drops in on a virgin line with his Ripxx and records his G's and top speed, charging!
