Artem Silchenko opened the competition, picked up exactly where he left off in France after racing into the lead during the first round and with an almost perfect execution of his blind-entry dive he took the highest score for a single dive as well as his second successive win in Denmark. Copenhagen is the first of three new locations on the 2013 calendar and hosts the world elite of cliff diving for the first time ever on June 22. During the first venue check it was the divers, though, who were left speechless, when they saw the spectacular view from the roof of the Opera House. Four of our European riders - snowboarders Sami Luhtanen and Kasia Rusin and skiers Roy Kittler and Caja Schoepf - went on a US team trip to discover the roots of Dakine. Their journey took them from Hood River (Dakine US Headquarters) to Nevada and its amazing landscapes, to finally end up in California where they shared a surf session with legendary soul surfer Rob Machado. During this 10-day road trip they challenged each other at the seven action sports where Dakine is involved.
