In 1988 Mack Dawg Productions released a skateboarding film called ?Sick Boys?. Shot entirely on Super 8 film ?Sick Boys? documents the early street skating movement in San Francisco along with footage of select demos, skate camps and competitions from those formative times. On Wednesday July 1st, Volcom opened its skate obstacle, which will remain all summer long on the Esplanade du Port de l’Arsenal, Place de La Bastille in Paris.

Last week we loaded up the van and headed to Clisson, France for the tenth edition of the Hellfest festival. Axel Cruysberghs, Dustin Dollin, Harry Lintell and Victor Pellegrin jumped in; we checked set times and put the pedal to the metal to make sure we could not only get our shred on the ramp setup but also enjoy shows from the likes of Black Sabbath, Melvins, Napalm Death, King Diamond, Sunn O))) and of course our friends from Gojira, The Shrine and Kveletrak. This week end saw the 9th annual gathering of Koffee-Schnaps; a somewhat unique event involving more than 130 participants of downhill skateboarding, rollerskating and tobogganing.
