Winning the first stage in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, the 2012 UCI Downhill World Cup season not only had a perfect and promising start to offer to Greg Minnaar. Winning the UCI DH World Championship title in Leogang, Austria, September last year turned out to be a golden one to Greg Minnaar crowning another fantastic race season. The 2nd World Championship title to him after 2003 and almost one decade of countless podiums and three Overall World Cup titles.
