Kitzbühel is known worldwide as the mekka of alpine skiing, with the anually held skiing race at the legendary Streif, the lifestyle and the beautiful surroundings which attract tourists from all over the world year after year. But it is more than that, and over the last decade a nice freestyle scene has evolved in the region and we got the chance to meet the people who play an important role in the freestyle scene of Kitzbühel.

With Christoph Schrammel, the Snowpark Kitzbühel has a new Parkdesigner this season. Yet, park doyen Franz Lechner still has his eyes on the project as supervisor. We got to spend a weekend with these two guys and accompanied them as they made their laps through the park, got to meet the crew, rode together with them and finally dove into real park building when the crew built up the new banana rail at the upper part of the park. In Version 3.0, the 16 QParks Apps have undergone a complete facelift. All features have been redeveloped to contemporary standards to guarantee seamless functionality for all devices. NEW: Shredweather is a fun feature providing snowboarders and freeskiers with the actual weather situation on the mountain in freestyle-language.
