Since the beginning of the season, we were green with envy watching all the pictures and videos from Japan, where snow conditions looked amazing. We then decided to go there as well, but our bank advisors said no.
Our disappointment didn't last for long, as Japan itself decided to come and visit us on the first week of February 2015. With more than 1m50 of fresh snow on the resorts of the Portes du Soleil in Haute-Savoie, we finally turned our dream of skiing in Japan into reality.
