It's huge, it's unique, it's mind-boggling: QParks' special obstacle THE X in Sölden! In May 2015, project manager Sven Toller and AREA 47 park designer Stefan Morocutti joined forces to create an enormous obstacle attracting both national and international freeski pros. Take a look behind the setup of THE X and see riders like Lukas Müllauer, Fabian Kettner, Johannes Rohrmoser, Markus Androsch, Sam Baumgartner, Dominik Wilfling, Josh Absenger and Fabian Braitsch in all their style and glory....

We can bluntly hear their minds boggle like “that’s a bloody steep take-off”, “pretty massive hip” and “damn, I’ll rather go for a hundred speed checks before taking on that one”…

The skiing resort Gastein offers everything freeskiers need for epic rides. When hitting the Snowpark Gastein, not only the dazzling view of Gastein’s surrounding mountains will make your lungs pause, there is also a handy setup waiting for shred-gourmets. The Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkönig is one of the longest snowparks in Austria. For the European winter season of 2015/16, the slopestyle course has again been redesigned and tweaked, stretching down over several lines. The 4 areas feature 17 kickers in different table lengths, 7 tubes and 7 jibs as well as a host of different boxes and rails. One of this year’s highlights is definitely the combination of wallride and rail, so please welcome the infamous wallride ledge! With its 52 obstacles...

A range of brand-new obstacles and Ricky Lalos as new park designer – in the winter of 2015/16 the Snowpark Turracher Höhe will come with a bold playground! On a total length of 1.150 meters and 46 obstacles, this snowpark is the perfect place to improve shred skills.
