The Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour Freestyle season finale takes place at Fuwairit Kite Beach, Qatar, from December 10-14th 2024, where the men’s and women’s world champions will be decided. This event marks the third and final stop of the Freestyle discipline, following earlier competitions in Dunkerque, France, and Cauipe, Brazil.

Brazilian’s Bruna Kajiya, a four-time world champion, leads the women’s standings after wins in Dunkerque and a dominant performance in Cauipe. However, Spain’s Rita Arnaus, returning to competition after a long injury hiatus, remains a strong contender after securing second-place finishes at both events. On the men’s side, Switzerland’s Maxime Chabloz and France’s Arthur Guillebert each have a win and a second-place finish, with Chabloz narrowly leading on countbacks.

The Fuwairit Kite Beach venue, renowned for its ideal conditions, will once again host the crowning of champions, continuing its growing reputation as a top kiteboarding destination. The finale promises dramatic action as part of a season that spanned 14 stops across four kiteboarding disciplines and eight countries.
