Freeride La Plagne 2011

In the winter of 2012/13, RIDE GREENER and Coupdoeil Film dared to take the step of making the impossible become possible: they produced the first climate friendly snowboard and ski film. In STEPS, the effects of climate change are shown in parallel with the allure of winter sports. The film pursues the question of whether or not snowboarding and skiing in today’s world can be done in harmony with nature.

With the spring coming, avalanches didn't allow us to go freeriding anymore, so we took the only option left to have fun in this season... and we did have fun !

The International Free Ride Film Festival will take place in Cauterets, celebrating it’s 9th edition from 5th – 7th DECEMBER 2013. During 3 days, Cauterets will be home to one of skiing and snowboarding’s major cultural film events, gathering both amateurs and professionals around this year’s best cinematographic achievements.

Thanks to massive snowfalls in the recent weeks, the Engadin valley is currently abundant with snow, offering the perfect venue for this extraordinary freeride event. Lots of big names in freeriding (skier and snowboarder) have gathered to be part of world’s only parallel freeride event.
