The Italian climbing area Finale Ligure offers perfect conditions for climbers. Climbing history has been written here for more than 30 years. Andrea Gallo’s 8b+ classic climb “Hyaena” was repeated by Jakob Schubert last December.

Wolfgang Güllich was the first climber who accomplished the “Action Directe” route in the Franconian woods in 1991. This route is truly a massive challenge for your fingers, ligaments and sinews. This route had been a whole new dimension of difficulty. However, Wolfgang Güllich and neither Mammut Pro athlete Jan Hojer did not hesitate to climb this hell of a route.
