In the women’s discipline, 24-years old Chloe Kim (USA) performed a switch frontside double cork 1080 that has never been performed by a woman to score 96.50 points for her winner run. The two-time Olympic and world champion secured her fifth LAAX OPEN title. The men’s finals were decided in a close battle with the best end for 30-years old Scotty James (AUS). The three-time world champion took his fourth victory at the LAAX OPEN and 95.75 points with a flawless run.
