Winning Runs of Freeride Juniors in Fieberbrunn - Freeride Junior Tour 2022

FJT stop at Fieberbrunn was quite a hard contest for the youngsters. The performances of the riders were particularly inspiring. Here the winner U-16 Ski Men - David Tschurtschentaler with absolute legs of steel. Super nice and ambitious run.

The Freeride Junior Tour returns to Austria to enjoy the incredible freeride playground of Fieberbrunn! The Freeride Junior Tour (FJT) has a highlight forthe freeride juniors on ski and snowboard. In challenging runs, the junior athletes show spectacular jumps and drops in the terrain as well as challenging lines through the deep snow. The future of Freeriding looks to be in safe hands with a continually impressive level of riding from Junior athletes.

Megane Betend delivered a career-defining performance to take first place, ensuring she made the cut for a chance at the world title. Megane didn’t take her foot off the pedal with a fast and powerful display of freeriding, which included an insane triple drop into the finish line.

19 years old Max Hitzig was handed an event wildcard to compete in Fieberbrunn, and he just went on to win the first competition of the first of the two-staged FWT-Finals.

The Freeride World Tour has its Grand Final. It takes place in Switzerland at Verbier. It is the exciting showdown of world’s best freeriders who throw everything they have at this mythical mountain. Everything is set for a spectacular final after the breathtaking stages at Baqueira Beret (ESP), Ordino Arcalís (AND), Kicking Horse (CAN) and the first final stage at Fieberbrunn (AUT).
