The second tour stop of the 2022 European Freestyle Pro Tour was held from 9th – 12h of June in the picturesque and windy Vieste in Italy. Italian Jacopo Testa fended off Steven van Broeckhoven and went on to win the Double Elimination against Yentel Caers. An action-packed Super Final ensued to determine the event win. With a plethora of high scoring moves on both sides of the final, this was a day for the freestyle windsurfing books.

Maaike Huvermann (NED) showed why she is the only woman to become European Champion so far. With a safe lead of 5 points, the Dutchwoman continued her winning streak on the European Freestyle Pro Tour. This stop of the Freestyle Pro Tour 2023 marks the conclusion of the European Foilstyle and Tow-In Championship battles. It took place in the beautiful Swiss capital of Geneva. Maaike Huvermann (NED) and Sam Esteve (FRA) win the Geneva Tow-In finals. With this win Huvermann backs up her overall ranking score and becomes the official 2023 Women’s European Tow-in Champion.
