Adam Melling (AUS) has won the first event of the 2011 O’Neill Cold Water Classic at Gisborne, New Zealand today claiming the ASP six-star event in the last 30 seconds over Brazilian surfer Willian Cardoso!!
The final took place at The Pines on Wainui Beach in clean 1.5m waves with offshore winds. Melling posted 15.20 out of a possible 20 points for the win. Celebrating his 26th birthday on the same day made his victory even more special.

Once more, quite a few talented freestylers and freeriders had an appointment by the famous Corvatsch in Silvaplana, close to Saint Moritz in Engadin Switzerland) for the Stimorol Engadin Snow.

The 16th annual freestyle.ch Zurich was a hit despite the weather. 28,000 freestyle fans gathered at the Landiwiese to cheer on their freestyle superstars.
This year’s freestyle.champs are Gjermund Bråten (NOR) in snowboarding, Henrik Harlaut (SWE) in freeskiing, Dany Torres (ESP) in FMX and Sandro Dias (BRA) in skateboarding.
In addition to its contests, freestyle.ch was able to captivate audiences once again with its live acts.

26-year old Australian Josh Kerr wins the O'Neill Cold Water Classic Canada 2010 - the coldest surf competition in the world!!
