Tim Boal (Anglet, FRA) won the 2011 Protest Vendee Pro at La Sauzaie defeating French Polynesian Alain Riou (Tahiti, PYF) in an exciting final. With exceptional waves on offer and great levels of surfing displayed, it was a great final day, giving Boal his second Protest Vendee Pro crown in four years.
