The 2nd FAI World Paragliding Aerobatic Championships came to a successful close today at Lake Annecy in south west France. An impressive seven solo and seven synchro runs were flown over 7 days from 26 August to 3 September, giving the 34 pilots from 16 nations an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their aerobatics skills in a highly competitive environment.

The 2017 World Rookie Finals went down with fantastic vibes as the quest to unveil the next Rookie snowboard superstars heated up when the world's finest young snowboarders converged on Kitzsteinhorn, Kaprun, Austria. Around 140 riders from all over experienced a whole week full of snowboard action having fun in the Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn, and – of course – to battle it out for the famous and much desired title of the World Rookie Champion.

The first Italian edition of the Paragliding World Championships were already openend with a new record: 48 nations with about 150 athletes were involved: Such a massive participation has never had occurred in past editions.
