After more than a year without racing, I somehow decided that taking part in the biggest ever mass start mountain bike race was a good idea. The Mountain of Hell is an event held in Les Deux Alpes, France, every year. It reunites pro and amateur in one epic race starting at 3600m on the glacier to get down to 900m down the bottom.
