Snowgirls is a project of 4 girls, 2 freeskiers and 2 snowboarders.
Its main goal is to get more girls into snowparks and to encourage
them to try freeskiing or freestyle snowboarding. The video episodes
are following girls on there travels around Europe, doing contests or
during visits in top european snowparks. We would like to show how
much fun can girls have in these mainly man dominated sports. Another
part of the project are free girls only freeski and snowboard camps

A truly spectacular performance was witnessed by the three thousand spectators gathered for the biggest Slovakian snowboard contest, the 4Star Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest on Saturday 19th of February 2011. The freshly upgraded 4Star big air event attracted local superstars, as well as, a strong Swedish and Czech representation to Driencia, the Slovak resort, and a high level of riding was seen throughout the day. Strážov Mountains are in my view an undiscovered paradise for bikers. The adventure, adrenaline, feeling of freedom, fast and technical descents and stunning views of the countryside, are only a fraction of what you get for your efforts. Maybe I was influenced by the fact that I grew up here, but I can't help myself. Považie region is simply beautiful. That's why I did not hesitate a second and chose Strážov, 1213 meters high dominance of these mountains, for the the first part of the series...

Finally, we got a chance to go outside of our box. Our city was too limiting for us... Our first trip where we decided to shoot outside of our "box". Beautiful nature, nice tracks, the weather was pretty good. You can't wish for more...
