Perspectives #9 highlights Dendrite Studios' trip to the original cat skiing operation on the planet: Selkirk Wilderness Skiing. In one of the lowest snow years on record for the operation and no new snow in a few weeks we still found nothing but the absolute goods. We were fed like kings and were welcomed as part of the family. All of the guests had permanent smiles and the staff reveled in this delight. The FWT Junior World Championship (FWT JWC) is the highlight of the freeride juniors on ski and snowboard. On January 20th to 26th 2023, the annual highlight of the season takes place in Kappl-Paznaun, Austria.
In challenging runs, the junior athletes show spectacular jumps and drops in the terrain as well as challenging lines through the deep snow.

The jury's evaluations are tight, which is evident, in the Ski Women category. Hannah Gruber (ITA), ski instructor and model from Italy, is able to prevail here with 2 safe jumps and a quick pace. Only three tenths separate second and third place. The first Open Faces qualifier competition of the season started with prime conditions and a triple victory for Austria in the men’s ski category. The freeride hotspot Kappl / Paznaun served as the venue for an OPEN FACES stop for the 11th time.
