As the 09/10 season kicks off Nike 6.0 officially announce new team member, Finnish pipe and park destroyer, Peetu Piiroinen.
As the current holder of the TTR world title Peetu has been a force to be reckoned with since he first hit the international scene. Nike 6.0 bring together some of Europe’s best pipe riders for the early season ‘Bag Jump’ session on the Saas Fee glacier.
Nike 6.0, along with new team rider Peetu Piiroinen, facilitated an airbag session to benefit some of Europe’s most prestigious pipe riders, enabling new tricks to be learnt and boundaries to be pushed in the lead up to 2010.

Peetu took 3rd place and 19 year old youngun Gjermund won the snowboard big-air contest to take home the 10.000 € prize-money.

An alley-oop is when you spin in a halfpipe or quaterpipe the opposite direction of your air, for example a backside spin on the frontside wall. Although they sound like an accident, they are hard to do, and look awesome when done right. Here are some of the slowest alley-oops you will ever see from Christian Haller, Peetu Piiroinen, Jack Mitrani, and Danny Davis. It's a good thing they are slow, so all the style can be absorbed.
