The LAAX OPEN 2017 ended with exciting Halfpipe finals today. The perfectly shaped LAAX Superpipe on Crap Sogn Gion was the center of attention, when 12 men and 6 women were trying to grab the Halfpipe crown. In breath-taking finals Chloe Kim (USA) and Chase Josey (USA) walked away as proud LAAX OPEN 2017 Halfpipe Champions.

Riders, media and spectators were greeted with another sunny and beautiful day here in LAAX and a perfectly shaped Slopestyle course for the big finals today. Enni Rukajärvi (FIN) and Max Parrot (CAN) are taking home the titles as well as the biggest portion of the prize-money cheque.

Enni Rukajärvi (FIN) and Max Parrot (CAN) win LAAX OPEN 2017 Slopestyle titles.
The ladies final was truly impressive with all riders showing unbelievable technical runs. Enni Rukajärvi (FIN), who won the Burton European Open here in LAAX in 2010, is finally back on top of the podium with her 2nd run which earned her 84,83 points. Another beautiful day here in LAAX for today’s Halfpipe Semi-Finals in the legendary LAAX Superpipe. 24 men and 12 women were battling for a spot in Saturday’s big finals. Olympic Gold Medalist Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI) won the Semi-Finals in his “home-pipe”, while Chloe Kim (USA) landed the best run in the women’s field.
All riders had two runs, with the best one counting. In the Men’s competition riders from Switzerland, the United States and China were clearly dominating the field today....

The LAAX OPEN 2017 continued today under blue skies and a picture-perfect winter scenery. Today’s center of attention was the perfectly prepared and creative Slopestyle course consisting of 6 features. The best 24 men and 12 women from yesterday’s qualification were competing for a spot for Friday’s Slopestyle finals.
The men started first and showed their skills in two runs, with the best run counting. The Canadian dominance in yesterday’s qualification continued today with all seven (!)...
