The winners in the GKA Freestyle Kite World Cup Dunkerque, in northern France, have been crowned after a difficult five-day competition when the fickle breezes teased the athletes but also sparked some big performances.

Women`s long jump also proofed high quality with the win of Agate DE Sousa (STP), which took the win with 6,56 m (currently Pos. 4 in annual world ranking outdoors) before actual Asian Indoor Champion Sumire HATA (JPN) with 6,47 m and Magdalene ZEBROVSKA (POL) with 6,42 m. Already the starting field promised great distances and heights and last but not least excitement and jumping aces to touch. Australia’s Rhiannan Iffland completed the perfect season in Bilbao, Spain, winning her seventh stop in a row to become the first Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series diver ever to go unbeaten all year. On the men’s platform, it was the familiar sight of England’s Gary Hunt celebrating in front of 27,000 fans who had gathered beside the Nervión river, following his fifth win of the season.
