Last March our global women’s army teamed up, cleared up a short window in their season and decided to defy the natural elements and do a team shoot in only a few days. They’d clearly done something right in the past as stars aligned letting the full script play out with blue bird park days, snowflake the size of tennis balls and waist deep pow after the season’s biggest dump, to wrap things up.

The Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn became the centre of spectacular tricks and sick action again: Within the scope of a dazzling shooting the Nitro Road Warriors examined the park thoroughly and tested the park by hook or by crook. The pro team around Basti Rittig, Sindre Iversen, Steve Krijbolder and Michael Macho pushed it to a maximum with a stunningly wide range of tricks and proved that the Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn offers perfectly shaped obstacles in spite of the proliferating spring!

The Freeski Maffia crew spent 3 days in Kitzsteinhorn, Kaprun. We had an amazing bluebird and could hit the obstacles from the Austrian Freeski Open. Thanks to the great shaper crew, the park was perfectly shaped every morning, the rails and boxes were pretty good and the big roller kicker was amazing!

The Quiksilver international team vistied the Kitzsteinhorn from March 21st until 27th 2011 to shoot for different movieproductions and their catalogue. Attending riders were Teo Konttinen, Marku Koski, Jan Necas, Viktor Temoryev, Freddie Austbo, Ville Paumola, Enzo Nilo and Ulrik Badertscher. Quik Teamcapatain Gary Greenshields set down with Parkdesigner Stefan Plattner to create some Special Features and the outcome will be awesome.

The girls started first and Annika Morgan (GER) took the first place in the rookie category showing her style with cab 540 tailgrab, backside 720 mute, backside nosbutter 360, fs lipslide prezel out, swicth backside blunt 270 out, sw bs to normal, bs boardslide. “I am really hyped to win the Nines wildcard that has always been my dream! So stoked!” Annika was followed by Mona Danuser (SUI) and Addison Gardner (USA).

A whole year of planning, scouting and guesswork Freeskiers and adventurers Matthias „Hauni“ Haunholder and Matthias Mayr invested into their personal mission impossible. To reach the Chersky Mountain Range and ski the highest Peak of Eastern Siberia "Gora Pobeda".
When Hauni and Matthias for the first time saw the Chersky Range from high above, when flying back home from Kamchatka it seemed to them like a huge White Maze. Impossible to find a way through this massive area of mountains....
