My winning entry for the Through the Lens film competition during the 2012 Queenstown Bike Festival, presented by DTR New Zealand.
The six months that I've spent in Queenstown has been nothing shorter than amazing. This place has not just some of the best riding in the world but also a booming bike scene and extraordinary people. This video is an homage to all of Queenstown - a best of the best from an amazing summer.
Thanks for all the memories, I can't thank you enough!

Ride more with New Zealand's only Gondola assisted bike lift. In amongst the pine trees of the Ben Lomond Reserve, the newly named ‘Queenstown Bike Park’ boasts world class biking trails with varying terrain for all abilities. The Skyline Gondola provides easy access to a 450m descent, over 30km of trials and spectacular panoramic views. Queenstown Bike Park is set to become New Zealand’s premier mountain biking destination.

Hop in a jetboat, strap your bike on the back and step into the shoes of Kelly McGarry. Kelly heads out to ride some lesser known freeriding spots around the Queenstown Lakes District, New Zealand. From dense native forest to steep scree lines, drops and road gaps along with a jump park session in the mix. Kelly demonstrates why he's so versatile on a bike, and why he chooses the shoes on his feet.
