A world-class international field dropped into the Alta Chutes today at The North Face Frontier Freeride World Qualifier 4* at The Remarkables ski field in Queenstown (New Zealand).
The Skiers and Snowboarders showed their skills as the runs were picked with traditional freeriding style, big technical skiing and progressive freestyle tricks.

Similar to the two-star competition, New Zealand skiers and snowboarders were strongly represented on the podiums in the four-star category. One category in particular stood out, according to Judge Dion Newport: Women's Ski Freeride. Jess Hotter (NZL) and Kelsey Wittels (USA) had a close battle for the win.
