Aging pro freeskier, Mike Douglas, travels to Japan in search of the secrets to perpetual youth and longevity. Between powder skiing sessions, he explores the Japanese diet, fitness, onsens and temples. The most profound advice, however, comes from a day spent with Mt. After visiting Fukui Izumi resort one year prior to this trip there was no doubt we had to go back and spend more time there with the full crew. With such awesome people and access to a full mountain with tons of resources it was definetely one of our favortie trips to date.

"Time Machine" as the name says, bring us back in time. RAD Film has its 10th anniversary and we will celebrate this with flashbacks from the happy coloured days where it all startet, on narrow skis and tight clothes.
At the same time we will follow the best Danish skiers &
snowboarders, on another great year, traveling around the world too places like the Japanese mountains skiing the deepest powder and further riding the big parks in the US.
Time Machine is dropping this fall 2009.

Point and Shoot: Japan 2012 is a mash up of footage that didn't make the final cut while editing for En Route Hokkaido. Too many good ski shots and hilarious moments to let go to waste. Enjoy.
Nimbus Independent was started in 2007 by Eric Pollard in collaboration with Pep Fujas, Andy Mahre, and Chris Benchetler. The four like minded skiers began Nimbus to bring a different perspective to skiing.

KANPAÏ (literally meaning "dry glass" or "dry the glass", is the Japanese word for "cheers" in a drinking toast).
This short feature is our toast in honour of powder skiing in Japan.
In febuary 2018, we travelled to Akakura which is a small ski town situated at the base of Myōkō San, in the Niigata prefecture on the main island of Honshu, Japan. We spent two weeks in the area and skied some of the best snow we have ever laid eyes on!
Thanks to all who helped make this adventure possib...
