The second stop of the ITF Beach Tennis World Tour Sand Series Classics took place in Gran Canaria (ESP). An increased prize money from $35,000 to $50,000 has attracted all the top athletes from 20 countries across five continents. After saving two match-points the Italian duo Tommaso Giovannini and Doriano Beccaccioli defeated Gianotti/Spoto (FRA/ITA) in three set and raised the trophy! In the women competition Patricia Diaz (VEN) / Rafaella Miller (BRA) won the final against the all Brazilian combination of Chow&Marchezini.
